Ohada Law has mainly concentrated on offences in connection with commercial company law and insolvency law.

Thus, in the field of company law, are provided for in the Uniform Act on commercial companies penalties notably relating to :

- offences with regard to company incorporation,

- offences with regard to company administration and management,

- offences with regard to general meetings,

- offences with regard to modifications in the registered capital of public limited
companies
,

- offences with regard to companies' audit,

- offences with regard to company dissolution,

- offences with regard to company winding-up,

- and offences with regard to public calls for capital.

In Ohada insolvency law, are included in the Uniform Act provisions on offences with regard to company administration and management (bankruptcy and assimilated offences).

Of course, this rapid overview on the penal liability especially focused on by Ohada Uniform Acts does not exclude the contractual liability incurred in the event of non-fulfilment of contractual obligations, nor the aquilian responsability in connection with wrongful acts.
